Dr. Barua's path began with a B.Tech from IMPS College of Engineering and Technology, Malda, in 2008, followed by an M.Tech at the University of Kalyani under Dr. Kalyani Mali, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering supervised by Prof. (Dr.) K. P. Yadav and Prof. (Dr.) P. Chakrabarti. What followed was less a single career than several running in parallel — teaching and academic administration, patents and publishing, and an expanding web of international advisory roles.
